The PURPOSE of our TIME in this LIFE

REVIEW
Last week we learned that we have been given a very special gift; the gift of life. We came to understand how precious our life really is. Our Creator, Himself designed us in His image. We come to realize that all human life is to be valued.
LESSON GOAL This week our lesson goal is to learn what God expects us to do with our lives and how he desires us to spend the days and time we have been given on the earth.

MAKING IT REAL
Read Matthew 25:31-46
1. According to this passage, how will you and I be judged?
2. What are some examples listed in using our time wisely?
3. What are some examples listed in using our money wisely?
4. How can we honor and serve Jesus?
CONCLUSION:
The essence of th Christian life is in obeying and worshipping God and helping others. Like the men in the parable of talents (Matthew 25:14-30) our gifts may be great or small. No matter how big or small our talents, abilities and wealth; we are required to put them to good use.
Discuss ways to use the gifts and talents God has given us.
· Babysit for a friend or neighbor
· Invite someone lonely to your lunch table
· Help someone sick or elderly
· Be respectful to teachers, parents, and adults
· Be kind to siblings
· Forgive those who treat you badly
· Pray for sick or suffering
· Volunteer at church
· Give offerings to God
· Find a creative use of your own special talent
CLOSING PRAYER
Pray for you and your students to be bold and brave enough to give back to God our time, abilities and wealth.
